Originally referring to a state of spiritual corruption in martial arts fiction, this term is now used colloquially to describe someone who is pathologically obsessed with a hobby or activity. It implies that the person has lost their sense of proportion and is no longer acting rationally. It is common to hear it used with the aspect marker 咗 to describe someone who has already crossed the line into this obsessive state.
