How it's used
This character is almost exclusively reserved for academic or historical discussions regarding ancient Chinese calligraphy. It is never used in daily life to mean reading books or taking things out, as those meanings have been entirely replaced by 睇 and 拎 respectively. You will only encounter it when studying paleography or visiting museum exhibits of bronze inscriptions.
