gung1 zyu2 beng6公主病
Definition
Princess syndrome; narcissistic, self-centered, and spoiled behavior in women.
How it's used
Princess syndrome is almost exclusively used as a pejorative label for women who are perceived as entitled or demanding in relationships. While it describes a personality trait, it is frequently used to criticize someone for failing to perform traditional domestic tasks or for expecting their partner to provide constant financial and emotional support. The term carries a strong social judgment and is rarely used in a neutral or clinical context.

Common mistake
Do not confuse this with actual medical conditions or clinical narcissism, as it is a social label rather than a psychological diagnosis. It is also specifically gendered and would sound highly unusual if applied to men, who would instead be described using terms like 大少爺脾氣.
