How it's used
While 褲襠 is the standard term for the crotch of a garment, children and many adults often use the more colloquial term 褲浪. The latter is also the term used in the traditional game 捐褲浪, where one crawls between another person's legs. Using 褲襠 is perfectly acceptable in any context, but 褲浪 feels slightly more natural in casual, everyday speech.
